This project started in October 2015 funded by UNDP and the government of SWEDEN for running up to December 2016. The main objective of this project is to strengthen inter-communal relations within the two IDPs camps in Mangateen and Mahad and with communities external to these camps in urban Juba in order to increase the democratic engagement, access to and participation of these communities in the ongoing political, ARCISS implementation and state recovery processes.

This objective is built on the premises that with community leaders in the society more able to participate, engage and dialogue with their government, and represent other community members, this vital grassroots sector of South Sudan can be democratically represented in the national and state platforms where issues that directly affect them are discussed, hence increasing the state-society relation.
