Integrated Development Organization (IDO) implemented a six-month project under the Sub-award No. 4011-001- IDO-01 with Democracy International (DI) which aimed at building the skills and knowledge of student youth leaders within Juba based Universities on leadership, good governance, peace building and advocacy through building and enhancing active participation of student youth leaders in political and democratic processes and increase networking with other key stakeholders to support them to better contribute to the future of South Sudan.
This was done through promotion of a more enabling environment, capacity building on the role of youth in governance with a specific focus on young women and practical advocacy outreach activities to create increased awareness on the positive role that youth can play in nation building.
The key objective of this project was to increase knowledge of youth on leadership and good governance, thereby supporting a democratic transition for South Sudan.

- 5 Monthly Youth Forums
- 3 Youth festivals
